Eugene Harney, a junior at Sycamore High School, won the 2023 Division I State Wrestling Championship in the 150-pound weight class with a 5-4 victory over a St. Edward High School opponent.

The Ohio House of Representatives commends Harney for his dedication, athletic excellence, sportsmanship, and leadership both in and out of competition.

The House recognizes Harney's accomplishments as a reflection of pride on his family, teammates, coaches, school, and community.

The Clerk of the House of Representatives shall transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Eugene Harney.
