Oakwood High School Academic Decathlon team won the 2023 United States Academic Decathlon Division III National Championship, marking their eleventh national title and thirteenth Ohio state championship.

The team competed against 48 United States teams and nearly 10 teams from China at the national championship competition.

37 team members including Isak Autrey, Ian Brooks, Alayna Brown, and others achieved the championship under the leadership of coach Lori Morris.

The House of Representatives applauds the team for outstanding academic achievement and wishes members a bright, rewarding future.

The Clerk of the House is directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to the Oakwood High School Academic Decathlon team.
