Ohio House of Representatives extends condolences to the family and friends of Catherine L. Barrett following her death.

Catherine Barrett served four terms in the Ohio House representing the 32nd District, beginning with her election to the 123rd General Assembly.

During her legislative tenure, Barrett advocated for children's education and health, economic stability, affordable housing, and insurance access, and served on Education, Health, Insurance, Finance and Appropriations, Local Government and Township, and Technology and Elections committees.

Barrett previously served as a city council member and mayor of Forest Park and worked as a financial consultant, analyst, and business owner, earning recognition including the Nefertiti Award and listings in multiple Who's Who publications.

The Clerk of the House is directed to transmit an authenticated copy of this resolution to Catherine L. Barrett's family.
