Recognizes the entirely volunteer department founded in 1847 for achieving a praiseworthy record of service, maintaining a Class 3 Insurance Services Office rating, and requiring Firefighter I certification within three years

Acknowledges the department's partnership with the Pomeroy Firemen's Association for fire prevention education and assistance with numerous community projects and events

Commends the members for their courage, dedication, and devotion in ensuring the safety and well-being of fellow citizens

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to the Pomeroy Fire Department
