Enacts section 3727.62 of the Revised Code to regulate noncompete agreements between nonprofit hospitals and health care professional employees (physicians, physician assistants, and advanced practice registered nurses).

Prohibits nonprofit hospitals from requiring health care professional employees to agree to noncompete restrictions after employment ends, except as specifically permitted by the bill.

Allows nonprofit hospitals to require noncompete agreements limited to a maximum of six months and a 15-mile radius from the employee's physical work location, which must be specifically identified in the employment contract.

Permits restrictions on employment during the term of the employment contract in specified geographic areas, with particular employers, or in particular industries or practice specialties.

Makes any waiver of employee rights under this section void and unenforceable, and allows employees to bring civil actions for damages, attorney's fees, and costs if hospitals violate the restrictions.
