Enacts section 2923.22 of the Revised Code to provide liability protection for federally licensed firearms dealers and indoor shooting range operators involved in firearm hold agreements.

Defines a "firearm hold agreement" as a private agreement where a dealer takes physical possession of a lawfully owned firearm at the owner's request, holds it for an agreed period, and returns it according to the agreement terms.

Shields federally licensed firearms dealers and indoor shooting range operators from lawsuits for personal injury or death arising from firearm hold agreements, including the return of firearms at agreement termination.

Liability protection does not apply if the action results from otherwise unlawful conduct by the dealer or range operator, or if the firearm owner becomes prohibited from possessing firearms under state or federal law during the agreement period and the dealer knows or should know of this prohibition.

Makes participation in firearm hold agreements optional for federally licensed firearms dealers and indoor shooting range operators.
