S.B. No. 211 - Dietitian Licensure Compact

• Enacts sections 4759.30 and 4759.31 of the Revised Code to enter Ohio into the Dietitian Licensure Compact, an interstate agreement allowing licensed dietitians to practice across member states through a "Compact Privilege" without obtaining separate licenses in each state.

• Establishes the Dietitian Licensure Compact Commission as a joint government agency consisting of all member states, with powers to promulgate rules, oversee compliance, manage finances, and resolve disputes among participating states.

• Allows qualified dietitians holding unencumbered licenses in their home state to obtain a Compact Privilege in remote states by meeting education/experience requirements, passing national credentialing exams, and complying with remote state jurisprudence requirements.

• Designates the State Medical Board to select Ohio's delegate to the Compact Commission within 60 days and authorizes the board to establish fees for granting Compact Privileges to out-of-state licensees.

• Provides oversight mechanisms including adverse action reporting, data system tracking of licensee information, rulemaking procedures with public notice requirements, and enforcement provisions allowing member states to take action against non-compliant states.
