• Expands eligibility for Ohio National Guard Scholarship Program to include individuals who have accepted a warrant, commission, or appointment in addition to those who enlisted or re-enlisted.

• Extends maximum scholarship eligibility from 96 to 128 eligibility units for recipients who extend their military contract or enlistment by an additional three years.

• Adds graduate-level course funding at $750 per eligibility unit used in a term, in addition to existing undergraduate scholarship amounts.

• Expands eligible educational programs to include credential-certifying programs, licensing programs, trade certification programs, and apprenticeship programs for in-demand occupations as identified by the adjutant general and chancellor of higher education.

• Maintains scholarship portability for active duty service members and preserves repayment obligations for those who fail to complete their enlistment terms, with exceptions for death or disability discharge.
