Adelaide Aquilla, a senior at The Ohio State University, won the shot put event at the 2023 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship Meet with a throw of 19.28 meters.

During her collegiate career, she earned three indoor shot put national titles, one outdoor shot put gold medal, and set a collegiate shot put record of 19.64 meters, plus an OSU outdoor discus record.

The Senate congratulates Adelaide Aquilla on her athletic achievement and recognizes her demonstration of discipline, conditioning, and focus as exemplary of a true champion.

The Clerk of the Senate shall transmit an authenticated copy of this resolution to Adelaide Aquilla.
