School districts must admit to kindergarten any student who is 5 years old, or 6 years old if the student has not completed first grade, by the first day of instruction of the school year

Children who turn 5 or 6 by January 1st of the school year but miss the standard age cutoff may be evaluated for early admission based on referrals from parents, educators, pediatricians, or psychologists

Students who transfer after being admitted to kindergarten at another school district or chartered nonpublic school cannot be denied admission based on age

The Department of Education and Workforce must review and correct scores for students affected by a scoring error on a single one-point question on the 2024-2025 science end-of-course exam, with no student scores being decreased

Students whose corrected scores qualify them for a science seal or honors diploma seal under section 3313.6114 must be awarded the applicable seal by their school
