School boards in Ohio must adopt and enforce policies within 90 days prohibiting all diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training, orientation courses, offices, departments, and job description references

Existing DEI offices and departments must be discontinued, and new ones cannot be established; schools cannot contract with consultants who promote admissions, hiring, or promotion based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression

Schools cannot circumvent the prohibition by replacing DEI programs with differently-named programs that serve the same or similar purposes

Each school board must establish a complaint process for students, parents, or employees to report alleged violations, with mandatory investigations and fair hearings

Applies to all public school districts (city, local, exempted village, joint vocational), community schools, STEM schools, and college-preparatory boarding schools
