Electors who are not members of a political party may now protest a candidate's primary nomination on specific eligibility grounds, including lack of U.S. citizenship, failure to meet minimum age requirements, violation of term or age limits, criminal conviction disqualification, or violations of candidate residency rules

Candidacy forms must include a designated space for candidates to list any former names used within the past five years (excluding name changes due to marriage)

Candidates elected under a changed name without disclosing former names face immediate suspension from office, vacation of the position, and liability to repay all salary received

Amends Ohio Revised Code sections 3513.041, 3513.05, 3513.06, 3513.07, 3513.261, and 3513.271, and creates new section 3513.053
