Prohibits licensed health care professionals from performing conversion therapy on patients under 18 years old when providing mental health treatment

Defines conversion therapy as practices seeking to change a person's sexual orientation or gender identity, including efforts to change behaviors, gender expressions, or reduce same-gender attractions

Applies to clinical nurse specialists, physicians, psychologists, licensed counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and chemical dependency counselors

Exempts services that assist patients with gender transition, provide acceptance and support, facilitate identity exploration, or address unlawful conduct through orientation-neutral interventions

Authorizes state licensing boards to suspend, revoke, or refuse to issue or renew licenses for professionals who violate the prohibition
