Prohibits persons convicted of first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence (Section 2919.25 of the Revised Code) from acquiring, having, carrying, or using firearms or dangerous ordnance

Adds misdemeanor domestic violence to the existing list of firearm disabilities, which already includes felony offenses of violence, felony drug offenses, fugitive status, drug dependency, chronic alcoholism, and mental incompetence

Violation constitutes "having weapons while under disability," a third-degree felony

Allows affected individuals to apply to the court of common pleas for relief from the firearm prohibition, subject to demonstrating rehabilitation and law-abiding conduct

Relief from disability is automatically voided if the person commits another qualifying offense, including the new misdemeanor domestic violence provision
