State employees and elected officials would receive reimbursements for out-of-pocket costs of FDA-approved GLP-1 weight management drugs purchased through manufacturer direct-to-consumer programs

Eligibility requires a body mass index of at least 30 as determined by a physician at treatment initiation; compounded versions of GLP-1 drugs are excluded

First-year reimbursements capped at $500 per month; second-year reimbursements capped at 50% of costs up to $250 per month

Maximum reimbursement period is 24 consecutive months per eligibility cycle

After a 6-month waiting period, individuals may reapply for another 24-month cycle if they regained at least 20% of the weight lost during the previous period
