Creates two new aggravated murder offenses: purposely killing an elected official, and purposely killing someone based on political affiliation, association, belief, or ideology (even if the offender was mistaken about the victim's politics)

Establishes a mandatory prison term for "politically motivated" felony offenses of violence, requiring the maximum prison term for the underlying offense plus an additional 10-year mandatory sentence

Adds political motivation as a sentencing enhancement factor for both felonies and misdemeanors, requiring courts to consider whether the offender was motivated by the victim's race, religion, elected/appointed position, political affiliation, political association, or biological sex

Requires prosecutors to include a specification in the indictment charging that a felony offense of violence was "politically motivated" to trigger the enhanced sentencing provisions

Defines "elected official" as officials elected to local or statewide office, and expands definitions of "law enforcement officer," "first responder," and "military member" to include former personnel
