Family child care providers certified by any branch of the U.S. armed forces, including the Coast Guard, would be exempt from Ohio state child care licensing requirements under Chapter 5104 of the Revised Code.

Amends Section 5104.02 by adding a new exemption category (division 12) to the existing list of programs not subject to state licensure.

Military certification would serve as an alternative to state licensure, allowing these providers to operate without obtaining a separate Ohio license from the Department of Children and Youth.
