Reduces trustee terms at Ohio public universities from nine years to six years for appointments made on or after July 1, 2025, and removes student trustee voting rights at Ohio State University

Prohibits all diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) offices, training, job descriptions, and hiring/admissions practices based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity at state institutions

Requires a new 3-credit-hour American civic literacy course covering the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Federalist Papers, and capitalism as a graduation requirement starting in 2029-2030

Bans state universities from accepting gifts from the People's Republic of China or affiliated organizations and mandates structural safeguards for any academic partnerships with Chinese institutions

Prohibits full-time faculty at state institutions from striking, requiring binding arbitration for labor disputes, and establishes new post-tenure review processes allowing for-cause termination of underperforming tenured faculty
