Allows Ohio driver's licenses and state identification cards to display a "Gold Star Family" symbol for immediate family members of service members who died in a combat zone while serving in any branch of the U.S. armed forces

Defines the Gold Star Family symbol as a folded military burial flag with golden stars and the words "Gold Star Family" in a size and placement determined by the registrar of motor vehicles

Requires applicants to indicate on their application whether they are a Gold Star Family member and whether they wish to have the designation displayed on their license or ID card

Authorizes the registrar of motor vehicles to establish by rule what documentation applicants must present to verify their eligibility for the Gold Star Family designation

Amends Ohio Revised Code sections 4507.01, 4507.06, 4507.13, 4507.51, and 4507.52 to implement the new designation option
