Applies to all public school districts, community schools, STEM schools, college-preparatory boarding schools, chartered nonpublic schools, and nonchartered nonpublic schools that participate in regulated interscholastic athletics

Bars any compensation related to a student-athlete's position on an interscholastic athletics team roster, regardless of whether it involves NIL specifically

Penalty for violations: student-athlete is barred from participating in the specific sport related to the compensation, but may continue participating in other sports

Requires organizations regulating interscholastic athletics to adopt rules establishing investigation procedures for alleged violations and an appeals process for reinstatement through the organization's executive officer
