Adds the Ohio Inspector General and deputy inspector generals to the statutory definition of "peace officer" in sections 109.71, 109.77, 121.483, and 2935.01 of the Revised Code

Peace officer status applies only while the Inspector General or deputy is engaged in official duties under sections 121.42 to 121.52 (the Inspector General's investigative authority)

Requires the Inspector General and deputy inspector generals to complete an approved state, county, municipal, or department of natural resources peace officer basic training program and receive certification from the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission

Grants the Inspector General and deputy inspector generals the same arrest authority as other peace officers when performing their official investigative duties
