Schools have the right to broadcast all middle and high school post-season interscholastic athletic contests in which their athletic teams participate

Organizations regulating interscholastic conferences or events in Ohio are prohibited from entering exclusive broadcast agreements that block local broadcasters or schools from broadcasting qualifying post-season athletic activities

"Local broadcaster" is defined as FCC-licensed radio or television organizations located in Ohio, or school-sponsored student broadcast organizations including educational programs

Local broadcasters must have previously provided broadcast services to a school in the local area or enter a formal agreement with the school to broadcast post-season events

Existing broadcast contracts entered before the effective date remain valid unless renewed after that date
