Legislators who charge plug-in hybrid or battery electric vehicles at charging stations in the Vern Riffe Center or Ohio Statehouse parking facilities are prohibited from claiming mileage reimbursement for that week of travel

Mileage reimbursement for other legislators remains unchanged at the standard state rate, payable up to once per week during session for travel between residence and Columbus

Amends Ohio Revised Code Section 101.27 regarding legislative compensation and travel reimbursement

Designated as the "Fairness in Mileage Reimbursement Act"
