Department of Aging must issue a request for proposals by December 31, 2026, for entities seeking to become PACE organizations in Ohio counties not currently served by the program

Entities have 90 days to submit proposals after the RFP is issued, and the Department must determine qualified applicants by June 30, 2027

Applicants must submit a feasibility study, demonstrate experience serving frail older adults, meet federal PACE requirements, and have or plan to acquire a suitable facility

New PACE organizations must receive the same reimbursement rates as existing organizations and begin serving participants within two years of CMS approval

Director of Aging may adopt rules under Chapter 119 of the Revised Code to implement the expansion process
