Governor must respond within 7 calendar days to federal requests for Ohio National Guard deployment under 32 U.S.C. 502(f)(2)(A), either accepting or refusing the request

Governor's acceptance or refusal must be publicly announced on the official state website, all official gubernatorial social media accounts, and in at least two newspapers of general circulation or their websites

National Guard units from other states that have not been federalized under Title 10 are prohibited from operating within Ohio without prior written authorization from the governor

Governor may establish conditions under which non-federalized out-of-state National Guard units may be permitted to operate in Ohio

Ohio National Guard members ordered to state training or duty retain civil and employment protections under the Service Members Civil Relief Act and Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act
