Requires all jail inmates, city infirmary inmates, and prisoners under the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction to be housed according to their biological sex as defined in section 3129.01 of the Revised Code

Amends section 751.08 to clarify that "males and females" in city infirmary housing provisions refers to biological sex

Mandates that political subdivisions operating jails must separate inmates by biological sex, regardless of any other minimum jail standards rules

Applies to persons sentenced to any state correctional institution, division, or place under the department's control for the duration of their incarceration
