Proposes amending Section 11 of Article XV of the Ohio Constitution to change the definition of marriage from "one man and one woman" to "two individuals"

Adds explicit constitutional protection prohibiting Ohio and its political subdivisions from banning interracial marriage

Retains existing language preventing the state from creating legal statuses for unmarried relationships that approximate marriage

Requires three-fifths approval from both houses of the General Assembly to place on the ballot for the November 3, 2026 general election

Takes effect immediately upon approval by a majority of voters, repealing the existing constitutional provision
