Proposes amending Section 6 of Article I of the Ohio Constitution to completely prohibit slavery and involuntary servitude, removing the existing exception that allows them "for the punishment of crime"

Requires three-fifths approval from both houses of the General Assembly to place the amendment on the ballot for the November 4, 2025 general election

Permits Ohio courts and probation/parole agencies to order convicted persons to participate in education, counseling, treatment, community service, or other alternatives to incarceration as part of sentencing

Specifies that court-ordered programs must serve purposes of accountability, reformation, protection of society, or rehabilitation

Takes effect immediately upon approval by a majority of voters, repealing the existing constitutional language
