Exempts healthcare benefit coverage provided by nonprofit agricultural membership organizations from Ohio insurance regulations (Title XXXIX and Chapters 1739, 1751, 1753 of the Revised Code)

Qualifying organizations must have been incorporated in Ohio on or before December 31, 1919, for the purpose of promoting farmers' interests

Coverage applications and contracts must be in writing and prominently disclose that the healthcare benefits are not insurance and are not subject to state insurance laws

Organizations are prohibited from representing their healthcare benefit coverage as insurance in any marketing materials

Authorized insurance companies may assume or reinsure the risks arising from these healthcare benefit arrangements
