School boards must adopt policies within 90 days prohibiting DEI orientation/training courses, continuation of existing DEI offices, creation of new DEI offices, and use of DEI in job descriptions

Districts cannot contract with consultants or third parties whose role promotes admissions, hiring, or promotion based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression

Schools cannot replace prohibited DEI programs with differently-named programs that serve the same or similar purposes

Districts must establish a complaint process for students, parents, and employees to report alleged policy violations, with mandatory investigation and hearings

Requirements extend to community schools (charter schools), STEM schools, and college-preparatory boarding schools through amendments to their governing statutes
