Requires app developers to determine whether their applications are likely accessed by children (under 18) and notify application stores of this determination, effective January 1, 2026

Mandates device manufacturers estimate user age upon initial device activation for devices sold on/after January 1, 2026, and through operating system updates after January 1, 2027 for older devices

Requires application stores to obtain parental consent before users known to be under 16 can download covered applications, and to provide developers with age-bracket signals (under 13, 13-15, 16-17, 18+) via real-time API

Requires developers of covered applications to provide parental supervision tools including account management, age-appropriate content controls, and daily time limits for children's use

Enforcement is exclusively through the Ohio Attorney General, with civil penalties up to $2,500 per violation after a 45-day cure period; no private right of action is created
