Imposes a mandatory $50,000 penalty against employers who unsuccessfully appeal workers' compensation awards for cancer contracted by firefighters in the course of hazardous duty under Ohio Revised Code section 4123.68(X)

The penalty applies only when the employer initiates the appeal and the firefighter's original award is upheld upon final determination

The $50,000 penalty is paid directly to the firefighter claimant, in addition to existing legal costs and attorney fees (capped at $5,000) already recoverable under current law

Amends section 4123.512 of the Ohio Revised Code governing appeals of Industrial Commission workers' compensation orders to court of common pleas
