Creates the Joint Law Enforcement Oversight Committee (JLEOC) to evaluate training standards and programs required for peace officers in Ohio

JLEOC consists of 6 members: 3 senators appointed by the senate president and 3 representatives appointed by the speaker, with bipartisan representation (2 majority, 1 minority from each chamber)

Committee must meet at least monthly, has subpoena power when authorized, and can require the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission chairperson to appear and answer questions

Members receive $150 per diem plus travel expenses on non-voting session days; leadership rotates between chambers in odd and even-numbered years

Appropriates $600,000 from the General Revenue Fund for fiscal year 2026 to employ technical professionals to assist the committee
