Allows Ohio voters to change their political party affiliation through the voter registration process by submitting an update form, rather than only being able to change affiliation by voting in a different party's primary election

Establishes that a voter's party affiliation is determined by either their most recent voter registration application/update form or the ballot they most recently cast at a primary election held on or after May 3, 2022

Requires all voter registration applications and update forms to include a list of recognized political parties with checkboxes, a write-in space for unlisted parties, and a box to indicate no party affiliation

Creates a unified "voter registration update form" to replace the separate "change of residence" and "change of name" forms currently used for updating voter registration information

Adds political party affiliation as a required field in the statewide voter registration database and requires pollbooks to display each elector's party affiliation as of 30 days before the primary election
