Ohio General Assembly may disapprove, in whole or in part, any agreement or order by the governor or director of job and family services to implement voluntary federal unemployment programs by adopting a concurrent resolution

Applies to voluntary federal programs that increase weekly benefit amounts, benefit duration, total benefits payable, or other unemployment compensation, assistance, or allowances

Only covers voluntary federal unemployment programs created on or after the bill's effective date

Upon adoption of a disapproval resolution, the governor or director must rescind the agreement or order as soon as practicable

Enacts new section 4141.433 of the Ohio Revised Code; sponsored by Senator Schaffer with cosponsor Senator Lang in the 136th General Assembly (2025-2026)
