Prohibits licensed health care professionals from performing conversion therapy on patients under 18 years of age when providing mental health treatment

Defines conversion therapy as practices seeking to change a person's sexual orientation or gender identity, including efforts to change behaviors, gender expressions, or reduce same-gender attractions

Applies to clinical nurse specialists, physicians, psychologists, licensed counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and chemical dependency counselors

Explicitly exempts gender transition assistance, identity exploration support, and sexual orientation-neutral interventions addressing unlawful conduct or unsafe practices

Authorizes state licensing boards to suspend, revoke, or refuse to issue/renew licenses for professionals who violate the prohibition
