Ohio state universities are prohibited from entering into or renewing contracts that grant exclusive media rights for intercollegiate athletic events to streaming services only, subject to federal law limitations

The restriction applies only to contracts entered into or renewed on or after the bill's effective date, not existing agreements

State universities must provide enrolled students free access to view any university athletic events broadcast under compliant contracts

Each university retains discretion to determine how student access to these broadcasts is provided

Creates new section 3345.88 of the Ohio Revised Code governing broadcast rights for state university athletic competitions
