Prohibits persons charged with or convicted of first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence (Ohio Revised Code section 2919.25) from acquiring, possessing, carrying, or using firearms or dangerous ordnance

Adds first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence to the existing list of disqualifying conditions for firearm possession, which already includes fugitive status, felony violence convictions, felony drug offenses, drug dependency, chronic alcoholism, and mental incompetence adjudications

Violation of the firearm prohibition constitutes "having weapons while under disability," a third-degree felony

Any relief from firearm disability previously granted by a court is automatically voided if the person commits a first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence offense

Amends Ohio Revised Code sections 2923.13 and 2923.14, sponsored by Senators Craig and Weinstein in the 136th General Assembly (2025-2026)
