Eliminates the requirement for supplementary petitions to place initiative statutes on the ballot; proposed laws would go directly to voters after filing the initial petition with the Secretary of State

Protects voter-approved initiative laws from legislative changes for two years after taking effect, unless the General Assembly passes amendments, repeals, or suspensions by a three-fifths supermajority in each house

Establishes specific deadlines for petition signature verification: Secretary of State must determine sufficiency 105 days before election, challenges must be filed within 95 days, and court rulings due 85 days before election

Grants the Ohio Supreme Court original, exclusive jurisdiction over all petition and signature challenges, with a 10-day cure period allowed if signatures are found insufficient

Would be submitted to Ohio voters at the November 3, 2026 general election and take immediate effect if approved by a majority of voters
