Formed to support Project Safe Neighborhoods, a nationwide initiative to reduce gun crime in America

Task force has expanded to include 125 local police departments and sheriff's offices with 350 law enforcement personnel

Clerk of the Senate directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to the task force
