Won first place in the 100-yard freestyle (50.77 seconds) and 200-yard individual medley (2:01.71)

Part of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that won first place (3:28.38) and the 200-yard medley relay team that placed second (1:45.95)

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Julia Shafer
