Re-creates the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Advisory Council as a nine-member committee appointed by the Attorney General, with a sunset date extended to July 1, 2013.

Four council members shall be selected from nominees provided by the Oklahoma Coalition on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, and five members shall be selected by the Attorney General from the state at large.

Of the five members selected by the Attorney General, one must represent domestic violence programs funded through the Attorney General's office and one must have expertise in sexual assault services.

Council members serve two-year terms with annual selection of a chair, and the Attorney General appoints replacements for unexpired terms as needed.

The Council's duties include reviewing rules and policies related to domestic violence and sexual assault programs and making recommendations to the Attorney General.
