Re-creates the Group Homes for Persons with Developmental or Physical Disabilities Advisory Board to continue until July 1, 2014, under the Oklahoma Sunset Law.

Board composition includes nine members: eight appointed by the Director of Human Services (including representatives from provider associations, disability councils, group home directors, and consumer advocates) and one State Fire Marshal or designee.

Board members serve three-year terms with possibility of reappointment, receive no compensation but are reimbursed for travel expenses, and must meet at least quarterly under the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act.

Advisory Board duties include reviewing service standards, evaluating Department practices regarding group homes, providing recommendations on service quality, and advising on nationally recognized accreditation standards.

Department of Human Services shall provide clerical staff support and meeting space for the Advisory Board.
