OK HB2320

Amends the Alarm and Locksmith Industry Act to modify definitions of "lock" and related security devices to reference Class 2 or Class 3 circuits and power source requirements from the National Electrical Code instead of the previous twenty-four volt specification.

Requires persons performing electrical work on circuits other than Class 2 or Class 3 circuits to obtain proper licensing or registration pursuant to the Electrical Licensing Act.

Makes gender-neutral language changes throughout the statute by replacing masculine pronouns with inclusive alternatives.

Modifies committee membership terms to allow currently serving members to complete their current term plus one additional term, and limits new appointees on or after May 1, 2011 to two full terms of office.

Becomes effective November 1, 2010.
