Appropriates $7,200,000 to the Department of Corrections from the Special Cash Fund of the State Treasury for duties imposed by law.

Appropriations are not subject to fiscal year limitations and are available for encumbrance and expenditure for 30 months from the date of approval.

Appropriations are exempt from fiscal years 2010 and 2011 agency category and budget limits.

Declares an emergency, making the act effective immediately upon passage and approval.
