Funds cover monthly salaries, per diem, and expenses for senators and employees, contingent expenses, and preparation of Senate journals and calendars

Appropriation is not subject to fiscal year limitations and is available for encumbrance and expenditure for 30 months from the date of approval

Effective date is July 1, 2010, with an emergency clause making the act effective immediately upon passage and approval
