Extends statute of limitations for embezzlement, misappropriation, and falsification of public records involving school districts from 7 years to 5 years after discovery of the crime.

Increases statute of limitations for financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult from 5 years to 7 years after discovery of the crime.

Establishes 12-year statute of limitations for crimes involving minors (rape, sodomy, child abuse, child trafficking, child pornography) after discovery, with exceptions allowing prosecution at any time if victim reports within 12 years, physical DNA evidence is preserved, and offender is identified through DNA testing within 3 years.

Maintains existing statute of limitations for other crimes including bribery, income tax violations, fraud, arson, and accessory charges.
