Removes the word "electronic" from the definition of emergency medication kits that long-term care pharmacies may maintain at facilities for resident emergency needs.

Redefines "long-term care pharmacy" to mean a licensed pharmacy that primarily provides services to a facility, removing language restricting it to institutions not open to the general public.

Adds the Board of Osteopathic Examiners to the boards authorized to issue special volunteer licenses to eligible physicians.

Changes special volunteer license issuance and renewal periods from "a fiscal year or part thereof" and "annually" to "a period of time to be determined by the applicable board."

Allows electronic verification (in addition to documentation) that volunteers were previously licensed and require written acknowledgments regarding disciplinary history, exclusive devotion to indigent care, and no-compensation commitments.
