• Exemption applies to conservation district board members classified as "state officers" under the Ethics Commission rules

• Maintains filing requirements for all other public officials including state officers, governmental entity administrators, state employees making policy or spending decisions, candidates for elective office, and public members

• Effective date: November 1, 2010
