SB 1393 Summary

• Increases nonresident annual fishing license fee from $41.00 to $54.00 and five-day permit fee from $22.50 to $34.00; allocates $5.00 from each nonresident license to the Oklahoma Wildlife Land Stamp Fund.

• Eliminates the separate trout license and requires valid Oklahoma fishing license (not a specialized trout permit) to fish in designated trout waters.

• Removes provisions allowing purchase of substitute temporary licenses by arrested violators in lieu of posting bond.

• Removes separate penalties for nonresident violations of trout fishing regulations that previously existed in Section 4-120.

• Effective date is January 1, 2011.
